A 1983 Plymouth Scamp Pickup Truck - the GT version with five speed manual and all the GT goodies. This truck spent 1983 to 2002 when I bought it from the second owner in Sunny California (San Jose.) It has NEVER seen snow or a winter outside my garage. There is no rust on this little truck. I bought it with the intention of restoration - I have purchased many NOS or Replacement parts for the truck and most of those will go with it. I have the two outer door seals (NOS in packaging) which are always bad and not available anywhere. It drives great just the way it is - it does have a bit of a drip problem - looks like the main seals are finally gone. Transmission shifts as smooth. The battery is brand new (9/2/2011.) Body has almost all it's original paint - only damage I can see the truck has had was to both rear quarters behind the wheels. I repaired one minor dent on the Right side and I have left the small dent and scrape on the Left side. There are quite a few shopping cart dings - I don't want to imply that this is a perfect truck. It is a perfect restoration candidate or Survivor. I have shown it in many car shows just as it is and have had many people interested in it. It is for sale locally and may sell quickly - there were less than 2000 Scamp GT trucks made total and fewer than 5000 Scamp trucks of any trim level. Tires are good, brakes are good - current registration expires in October - could fly in and drive home. I have a 47 Plymouth rear-end, radiator, steering wheel, shift lever and arm and one dual set of Ball & Ball carbs. Everything is off a 47 convertible that was converted to a V8.
